My Book Give-Away Winner Announced!!!
How exciting is this??? Last week I was featured as a guest blogger on Quilting Gallery and I had a book give away, not one but two books. All that was needed was for someone to post a comment on how many scissors and pincushions I owned. As promised, today is March 1st, the day to post the pics of the scissors and pin cushions and announce my winners!
The answer is 45 pairs of scissors
and the winner is Sherelyn Nichol of Houston, TX who will receive an autographed copy of my book "Quilted Fairie Tales"
CONGRATULATIONS!

The flower and leaf fabric on the left is "The Lindsey Collection" by Karen Montgomery for Timeless Treasures Fabrics. The stripey and fish fabrics are fat quarters and the name idn't on the selvage. Love the color fix! They're so tactile today.

Your doodles are fantastic! I love the doll. Her eyes look like a doll I used to have - Blythe doll??
I love the people in the top doodle as well. They look so happy, yet are so simple. I might be inspired by them! ;-)
Ok I found this spot to post, so here goes, first off, I am amazed I was even close. Second if I had went with my first scissor estimate it would have been 41.
Anyway I am going to guess you were born at 3:17 am.
Now if I was a good fairie dragon I would pass on the book as I have a copy signed by you. So dear It should really go to Ms Sunshine!
hugs and again it was a joy to read about your life!

I'm feeling 3:53 a.m. Don't know why but that's the number that jumped into my head. Fingers crossed.
Your blog and journal are so colorful! I have a full huge set of prima(?) colored pencils but they do not give me the vibrant colors like your drawings have.
Maybe I should find a good set of marking pens? lol
hugs
Sherri
Teri-They are tactile, huh! Didn't give thought to it when I posted the colors.
Jaye - I'm feeling old...what is a Blythe doll??? Gonna Google it.Hmmm...inspired by my doodle? How so?
Donnely-How sweet of you to forfeit your chance of breaking the tie. I'll let Carolyn know!!!
Ruth B - Oh sweetie...the question was for a special tie breaker....but you are close only 12 hours behind!
Sherri - I have the prisma's too, but they are boxed away in that special place that I can't find. I used the standard Walmart purchased pencils..RoseArt.
I need, need, need those patchwork shoes! And you need more pin cusions!
Linda, I love the new fabrics, especially the Lindsey Collection.
I don't think they're here in Canada yet. Have you decided on a project for them yet?
I LOVE your pin cushion collection!! How did I miss that contest!?! LOL
Love the painted cabinets- Urban Outfitters, huh?
