Quilty Curtains
How fun is this? I have a blank window where I sew. Just shades with no curtains. I thought it would be sweet if I did some type of quilty looking curtains and then I came across these great looking window dressings.
It affirmed that I want to do this.
When I finish, I'll post them to show you what I did. Have any of you done quilty looking curtains? Let me know and I'll post them right here!
I LOVE when I teach a class and my students show me what they have done when they are finished! It makes me happy to know they didn't end up as a UFO. If you have taken a class from me and finished, please let me know and I would love to show what you have done right here.

Maureen Farr turned the class "The Bird House" into a beautiful pillow and Gloria Grohs used the reverse side of her fabrics to soft
en the boldness of the prints to make this wall hanging.
The last picture is from when I lectured for the Thumbstall Guild in upstate NY and was suprised with a finished tablerunner from the Modena; An Italian Balcony class.
I was looking at Darcy's blog and loved how she took scrapbooking paper to make this very colorful wall in her basement. I then began to think that a fabric wall would be beautiful too. I guess all we would need to do is use the dustbuster every so often to clean?

I am going to toot the horn for my mom. She made this beautiful baby quilt for a very dear dear friend's first grand daughter Gabriella.
Such a happy little crib isn't it?
The Pincushion Beanbag Chair
WOW! Now this is the ultimate bean bag chair for anyone who sews....
this gets 5 stars from me and 2 thumbs up from me!

Thanks for visiting. I am always curious to what is out there in the Quilting/Sewing world. I especially love when something quilty is used for a different purpose other than the bed or wall.
Have you done something like this?
Let me know and I would love to blog about it.

Tell your friends about my blog, you never know what cool things
other people have done and will show up here!

Many thanks,
Linda
