Gabriella's Quilt,Things I love,Zoie,Your Color Fix for Today

Gabriella's Quilt
It's done!!! I am so happy and at peace that I made Grand-baby Gabriella her first quilt for her 6 month birthday which falls on Christmas. I can't wait to wrap her up in it.

....and to think it looked like this 4 weeks ago..with Thanksgiving in between and all the Christmas shopping and that thing called "work."

Some things I love....

I needed to make something out of this glass bowl....fast. I didn't have much around, so I ripped strips of red and green fabrics and ties loose knots. Tossed them into the bowl, added mother of pearl off white buttons of all sizes and added this little lantern in the middle....
(Mom made me this table runner for Christmas many years back....perfect!)

I cherish this punch bowl. It has been in my family for many many years. It was my triple great Tante Alice's. I love when you spin the inside of the punch bowl it says "Merry Christmas".

My sweet thoughtful honey knew how much I love snowmen and came home with this cookie jar. It makes me smile all the time.
I love antique Christmas cards. They are like "little works of art". Agreed?

Zoie....has she been naughty or nice???? You tell me!

I love this....click on the pic and it will take you to all kinds of wall art for your hobbies!

YOUR COLOR FIX FOR TODAY

Thank you as always for stopping by. The year is almost over and I wish you each peace within yourself, happiness everyday, health that keeps you strong and an energy inside that burst forth some of the most awesome creativity of your life.
......peace on earth, goodwill towards men.

Your color fix could have been the baby quilt! Such a vibrant and pretty quilt you've made!

I love your punch bowls too. If you ever tire of the cookie jar, you can send it to me. I would give it a good home. :)

LOL about the sewn up dog toys. I am glad I am not the only one who does that!

Merry Christmas Linda!

That baby quilt will become a family heirloom for sure - gorgeous!! Zoie could NEVER be naughty - part of a pup's job is to rip the noses of stuffed animals!!! LOL
Happy Holidays!!!
